Eligibility Guidelines

To be eligible for a Pre-Kindergarten class, a child must be three or four years of age by August 15, depending on the class for which he/she is applying.
All students must be completely and independently toilet trained by the first day of school.

To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be five years of age by August 15. A completed application with all requested documents is required for Admissions consideration.
A Kindergarten screening and Pre-K assessment form from applicant’s current Pre-K are needed for the admissions process.

A completed application with all requested documents, including current and previous progress reports and results of any standardized tests taken, are required for admission consideration. A language, math, and writing assessment, along with a personal interview, may be conducted.

Applications for new students in PreK3-7th Grade open for the 2026-2027 school year
Applications will be accepted through the FACTS online portal. Once you create an account, you will be directed to complete the application and submit the necessary information. Requested items, depending on age, include but are not limited to: Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Sacramental Record, Academic Transcript, Standardized Test Scores, Teacher Recommendation Form, and Immunization Record.

Prospective Family Interviews
St. Michael Academy seeks mission-driven families to partner with us in the total formation of their students. A member of the leadership team will meet with each individual family (children included). Prospective family interviews will last approximately 30 minutes.

Admissions Decisions
Offers of admission to St. Michael Academy will be sent out via email.

Applications received after the end of January will be considered for admission based on availability. Weekly, the admissions team will review open spaces and applications. This will continue until spots are all filled. Interviews and screenings will be scheduled accordingly.
