Curriculum
To help fulfill SMA’s mission of forming saints and scholars for the greater glory of God, curriculum layout and resources are being implemented in ways that enhance the comprehensive educational experience of students walking through our doors.
Core subjects of Math, ELAR, Science, Social Studies, and Religion will be taught daily. Classrooms at SMA are strictly pen-to-paper and do not utilize tablets or laptops, except for dedicated STEM classes. Throughout the week, students will attend co-curricular classes of Visual Art, Music, Physical Education, Coding and Robotics, Spanish, and Library. The curriculum guides found below will provide an overview of topics covered and resources utilized in each particular grade for the core subject areas.

Summer Assignments
Fostering a love of reading and math at a young age has many benefits. At St. Michael Academy, we want to promote this love and encourage our students to build on their knowledge year-round. During the summer, students will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of books and continue building their math skills outside the school building.
Please select the assignments for your student based on their rising grade level for the coming school year.
